Saturday they drove to Sherborne House where they were joined by myself and my daughter Claudine, Jim Rowe, John Cooper, Martin Jones and Douglas "Ginge" Whear. We met up with the Sherborne House Caretakers Graham and Ian who were interested in our knowledge of the history of the building and in turn answered many of our questions. Once more we viewed other areas of the building; this time 'The Headmaster's Flat and one of the Top Floor dormitories.
As usual we were pressed for time and rushed to get to the Inn for all Seasons in time for our booking at 1.30pm. So it was decided that from next year we would meet at Sherborne, an hour ealier, just before 11am for our viewing of the House.
At the Inn for all Seasons we were unable to use the separate function room because it was being renovated and hope to be able to do so next year. We enjoyed a very nice buffet at £13 per head with tip.
In the evening at our customery time of 8pm we had our Reunion Dinner. We were joined by John Morley; though Martin Jones had another engagement, he hopes to attend next year. Though we were few I felt that what we lacked in numbers was made up by the dedication of those present.
On Sunday morning we enjoyed a Full English Breakfast. When we parted we agreed to meet again next year and hope by then our numbers will have grown again.
